CBS 42 Wins Two 2011 Edward R. Murrow Awards

WIAT – TV, CBS 42, is honored to be the recipient of two regional Edward R. Murrow Awards. These prestigious awards were given to WIAT in the categories of “Best Television Website: www.cbs42.com” and “Breaking News Coverage, Walker County Tornado.”

The Radio Television Digital News Association (RTDNA) bestows the honor to deserving television stations which have exemplified the pursuit of excellence in journalism. In both categories, WIAT was hailed as the television station providing the best web and breaking news journalism over a four state area.
